Betsy Kaminski, O.D.

Dr. Kaminski grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia and has lived in Pittsburgh since she completed optometry school in 2013. She attended West Virginia University, receiving a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and then continued on to The Ohio State University College of Optometry for her doctorate. Coming from a high volume private office, she has experience in all areas of optometry including ocular disease management, dry eye, pre- and post- operative care for cataracts and laser vision correction, pediatrics, glaucoma, and specialty contact lenses. She loves a challenging contact lens fit and has worked with several patients with keratoconus or post-operative corneas. Dr. Kaminski enjoys private practice optometry because she likes having the chance to use all aspects of her education and manage a variety of patients of all ages. When not striving to keep her patients happy and healthy, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and cooking pasta with her husband in the South Hills.
